A tribute will be paid to Jacqueline Bisset with the screening of Rich and Famous, George Cukor’s last film (1981).
The Festival will close on Tuesday 17th June, with the premier of Ronit and Shlomi Elkabetz’ film Le Procès of Viviane Amsalem, in the presence of the cast : Ronit Elkabetz, Simon Abkarian, Menashe Noy and Sasson Gabai.
The charity evening in aid of the Toiles Enchantées will take place on Monday, 16th June, with the premier screening of Jean Becker’s film, Bon Rétablissement ! in the presence of actors Gérard Lanvin, Swann Arlaud, Jean-Pierre Darroussin, and other personalities who support the association.
The following French and American premiers have been added to the program :
• Neighbours, the N° 1 comedy released earlier this year in the States, directed by Nicholas Stoller with Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne. Release date : 6th August distributed by Universal Picture
• A Million Ways to Die In the West, a comedy/western by Seth Macfarlane, the Director of Ted , avec Seth Macfarlane, Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried. Release date : 2nd July distributed by Universal Picture
• Fast Life, by the actor and humourist Thomas Ngijol, known for his box-office success Case départ, co-directed by Patrice Eboué, and Le Crocodile du Botswanga. Release16th July distributed by Europacorp
• Hippocrate by Thomas Litli, closing film of de la Semaine de la Critique 2014, with Vincent Lacoste, Reda Kated, Félix Moati, Jacques Gamblin and Marianne Denicourt. Release 10th September distributed by Le Pacte.
• This is comedy Judd Appatow and Co , a documentary by Jacky Goldberg, which documents the career of this exceptional producer-director.
More than 60 films and nearly 100 screenings in the cinemas on the Champs-Elysées: the Balzac, the Gaumont Champs-Elysées, the Lincoln, the MK2 Grand Palais, the Publicis Cinémas and UGC George V.
The festival pass (Pass for the 26 year olds and less: 35 euros. Pass premium: 50 euros) is on sale as from now on the Festival website and on Fnac.com and from the 11th June in the festival shop situated in the Wifi Café d’Orange in Publicis.
